Do nothing cake

My friend sent this recipe to me, I am yet to try it but I am sharing it here so we can all try then give feedback.

Ingredients:
2 cups of flour
2 cups of sugar (she always uses 25% less for cakes)
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1 teaspoon of vanilla
2 eggs, beaten slightly
a pinch of salt
2 cups of crushed pineapple in the juice (you could buy it in a can so that will be 500g)

Method of preparation:
Unlike a normal cake where you have to put in the ingredients one after the other, you can put everything into your mixing bowl in no particular order then mix it all up with a wooden spoon.

Pour it into a pan and bake for 30 to 40 minutes.

To jazz it up, she decided to do some frosting on it.

Ingredients:
250g butter
250g sugar (25% less)
2/3 cup of milk
1 cup of almond flakes
1 cup of shredded coconut

Method of preparation
Pour the milk, butter and sugar into a pot and put that to boil.
Stir while it is heating up and once it starts to boil, turn off the heat.
Add the cup of almond flakes in then the shredded coconut. Stir while you do this
Frosting is ready!

Once you take the do nothing cake out of the oven, poke it in several places and pour the frosting onto it. Some will seep in through the holes you've poked.

And voila!
She managed to send one photo before she devoured it!

I know there is a sugar overload in this recipe but every now and then we can indulge right?!
